paco torres
Paco is our Executive Sous Chef and comes to us from Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico with a background in Engineering and Philosophy. In addition to his extensive travels in Mexico and South America (as he is Gabi's husband), he has much experience in artistic craft-making using leather and wood as his median. Paco has transferred his artistic skills to the kitchen. He has become our Saucier, knowing just the right mix of our secret ingredients (and I won't divulge these) to come up with some great tasting sauces. He is also our in-house MacGyver, fixing all that goes broke. I can't wait to see what new and exciting ideas he brings with him from his travels!
gabi samaniego
Gabi has a degreein Latin American Studies from Mt. Holyoke College. Herliberal arts education gives her a different perspective to mybusiness-minded ideas. She is the artistic force in many ofthe products and services we sell. Gabi is also awriter. She composed the "About Chef Aida" web page and oftenhelps me put my ideas in writing when putting together the historybehind the menus in our emails. Her extensive travels inMexico, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay (shejust got back from a three-month long tour of South America!) havegiven her many ideas on blending ingredients to come up with exoticLatin-inspired menus. She is also Chef Extraordinaire,keeping me company whenever we MUST work all night in order to getour baked goods ready for the following day.

No child labor lawsbroken here. Tonatzin and Xitlali are my precious littlegirls who DO have a very special job. We are also proudto announce the latest addition to the family: baby boyTonatiuh. They also stay up and wait for their Mami to comehome from work no matter how late it gets.
